2. Setup Instructions

Before initial use, ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks and ensure proper function.

  1. Inspect Components: Unpack the TriggerJet and inspect for any visible damage. Ensure all parts are present.
  2. Connect Inlet: Attach the 1/4" NPT inlet of the TriggerJet to your spray hose or supply line. Use appropriate thread sealant (e.g., PTFE tape) to ensure a watertight and secure connection. Tighten firmly by hand, then use a wrench for a final snug turn, being careful not to overtighten.
  3. Connect Outlet: Attach your desired spray nozzle or extension to the outlet connection of the TriggerJet. Ensure this connection is also secure.
  4. System Check: Before introducing chemicals, test the system with water to check for leaks and proper spray pattern.

3. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your TriggerJet.

  1. Prepare Solution: Ensure your spray tank contains the appropriate solution for your application.
  2. Activate System: Turn on your pump or pressure source. The TriggerJet is designed to operate effectively up to a maximum pressure of 150 PSI. Do not exceed this pressure.
  3. Initiate Spray: Aim the nozzle at the target area. Squeeze the trigger handle to begin spraying. The flow rate and spray pattern will depend on the attached nozzle and system pressure.
  4. Continuous Flow (Trigger Lock): For extended spraying, push the trigger lock mechanism forward (or engage as per design) while the trigger is squeezed. This will hold the trigger in the open position, allowing continuous flow without constant pressure on the handle. To disengage, simply squeeze the trigger again.
  5. Cease Spray: Release the trigger to stop the flow. If the trigger lock is engaged, disengage it first.
  6. Depressurize: After use, always depressurize the system before disconnecting any components.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your TriggerJet.

  • Cleaning: After each use, flush the TriggerJet thoroughly with clean water to remove any chemical residues. This is crucial to prevent clogging and corrosion.
  • Diaphragm Inspection: Periodically inspect the Viton diaphragm for signs of wear, cracking, or damage. The Viton material provides excellent chemical resistance, but replacement may be necessary if damage is observed.
  • Storage: Store the TriggerJet in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry and free of chemical residues.
  • Winterization: In freezing conditions, ensure all water is drained from the TriggerJet and associated hoses to prevent damage from ice expansion.

5. Troubleshooting
