4.2 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the water tank cap on the main unit. Unscrew or open it.
  3. Using the provided measuring cup, fill the water tank with clean tap water or distilled water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. The tank capacity is 350ml.
  4. Securely close the water tank cap.

Important: Do not add any cleaning detergents, essential oils, or other chemicals to the water tank. This can damage the appliance and void the warranty.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Operation

  1. After filling the water tank, plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  2. The steam mop heats up quickly, typically within 30 seconds. The indicator light may change or turn off when the steam is ready.
  3. To generate steam, press and hold the steam trigger or button. Move the mop slowly over the surface to be cleaned.
  4. When finished, release the steam trigger, unplug the appliance, and allow it to cool down before emptying any remaining water or changing attachments.

5.2 Floor Cleaning (Hard Floors)

For cleaning sealed hard floors such as tiles, laminate, or sealed wood:

  • Ensure the mop pad is securely attached to the mop head.
  • Pre-sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loose dirt and debris.
  • Plug in the steam mop and wait for it to heat up.
  • Move the steam mop slowly and steadily across the floor, pressing the steam trigger as you go. The triangular mop head design allows for easy access into corners.
  • For stubborn stains, hold the mop over the area for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.

5.3 Carpet Cleaning (with Carpet Glider)

To refresh and sanitize carpets and rugs:

  • Attach the carpet glider over the mop head with the mop pad in place.
  • Plug in the steam mop and wait for it to heat up.
  • Move the steam mop with the carpet glider slowly over the carpet surface. Do not hold it in one spot for too long to avoid over-wetting.
  • This function is for refreshing and sanitizing, not for deep stain removal.

5.4 Handheld Steam Cleaner Use

The main unit detaches to become a handheld steam cleaner for various surfaces:

  1. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool slightly.
  2. Detach the main unit from the handle and mop head.
  3. Attach the desired accessory (e.g., small round brush, large round brush) to the nozzle of the handheld unit.
  4. Plug in the handheld unit and wait for it to heat up.
  5. Direct the steam jet towards the surface to be cleaned (e.g., tiles, grout, kitchen surfaces, windows). Use a cloth to wipe away loosened dirt.
  6. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, especially on delicate surfaces.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Cleaning the Mop Pads

The reusable mop pads can be machine washed with similar colors. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can reduce the effectiveness of the pads. Air dry or tumble dry on low heat.

6.2 Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits from tap water can build up inside the appliance, affecting its performance. To descale:

  • Mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water.
  • Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  • Fill the water tank with the vinegar solution.
  • Plug in the appliance and allow it to heat up.
  • Operate the steam mop in a well-ventilated area until the tank is empty.
  • Repeat the process with clean water to rinse out any vinegar residue.
  • Perform descaling every 1-3 months depending on water hardness and frequency of use.

6.3 Storage

After each use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank. Store the steam mop in an upright position in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
