Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the internal battery. Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC IN port on the player and then to a wall outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate.

2. Connecting the Antenna

For DVB-T/TNT reception, connect the provided antenna to the antenna input port on the side of the player. Extend the antenna fully for optimal signal reception.

3. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, slide the POWER switch to the ON position. To power off, slide it to the OFF position.

Operating Instructions

1. Playing a DVD/CD

1. Open the disc cover gently.
2. Place a DVD or CD onto the disc spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Close the disc cover. The player will automatically detect and begin playback.
4. Use the control buttons on the player or the remote control for playback functions (Play, Pause, Stop, Skip, Volume).

2. Using USB/SD Card

The Lenco DVP-745 supports media playback from USB drives and SD cards.

• Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
• Navigate to the Media Source selection (usually via a 'Source' or 'Mode' button) and select USB or SD.
• Browse your files (MP3, WMA, JPG, MPEG) using the navigation buttons and press OK/Play to start playback.

3. DVB-T/TNT Digital TV Reception

1. Ensure the antenna is properly connected and extended.
2. Switch the input source to DVB-T/TNT mode.
3. Perform an automatic channel scan through the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu to find available digital television channels.
4. Use the CH+/CH- buttons to change channels.

4. Menu Navigation

Access the OSD menu by pressing the MENU button on the player or remote. Use the arrow keys to navigate and OK/ENTER to confirm selections. Adjust settings such as picture, sound, and system preferences.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the player. For the screen, use a specialized screen cleaning cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Disc Care: Handle discs by their edges. Keep them clean and free from scratches. Store discs in their cases when not in use.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the device for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months.
