Setup
Connecting Speakers
Connect your 7.1 channel speaker system to the corresponding terminals on the rear panel of the receiver. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for all speakers. The system supports a 7.1 channel configuration, including front, center, surround, and surround back/height speakers, along with a powered subwoofer.

Connecting Audio/Video Sources
Utilize the HDMI inputs for high-definition audio and video devices such as Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, and cable/satellite boxes. The receiver features 4 HDMI inputs and 1 output. For other devices, use the appropriate digital or analog audio/video inputs.

The front panel USB port allows for direct digital connection of an iPod/iPhone for audio playback and charging. It also supports USB flash drives for compressed and lossless audio.
Power Connection
After all audio/video and speaker connections are made, connect the power cord to the receiver and then to a wall outlet.
Initial Configuration (Audyssey 2EQ)
For optimal sound performance, use the included Audyssey setup microphone to automatically calibrate your speaker system to your room's acoustics. Connect the microphone to the front panel jack and follow the on-screen instructions.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
Press the ON/STANDBY button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the receiver on or off.
Input Selection
Use the input selector buttons on the front panel (e.g., BD/DVD, CBL/SAT) or the SOURCE buttons on the remote control to select your desired audio/video source.
Volume Control
Adjust the master volume using the large knob on the front panel or the VOL +/- buttons on the remote control.
Sound Modes
Press the LISTENING MODE button on the front panel or remote to cycle through various sound modes (e.g., Stereo, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, THX, etc.) to match your content and preference.
USB Playback
Connect your iPod/iPhone or USB flash drive to the front USB port. Use the receiver's display and remote control to navigate and play audio files.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming
If you have the optional UBT-1 Bluetooth adapter, connect it to the dedicated port. Pair your Bluetooth-enabled device with the receiver to stream audio wirelessly. The aptX codec ensures near CD-quality sound.
Zone 2 Operation
The receiver supports powered Zone 2 output, allowing you to distribute audio to a second room. Refer to the detailed manual for specific wiring and control instructions for multi-room audio.
Using the Remote Control

Maintenance
Cleaning

Troubleshooting

- Subwoofer Not Working:

- Remote Control Not Responding:
