Installation Instructions

- Apply Sealant: Apply a bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the underside of the drain flange (the top part of the drain body that sits in the sink).
- Insert Drain Body: Insert the drain body through the sink opening from the top. Press firmly to seat the flange and create a seal.
- Assemble from Underside: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer onto the drain body, followed by the friction washer, and then thread the lock nut onto the drain body.
- Tighten Connections: Hand-tighten the lock nut, then use an adjustable wrench to tighten it an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Do not overtighten. Wipe away any excess sealant that squeezes out from around the flange.
- Attach Tailpiece: Connect the tailpiece to the bottom of the drain body. Ensure a proper seal with a washer and nut (typically supplied with the P-trap assembly, not the drain).
- Connect P-Trap: Connect your P-trap assembly to the tailpiece.
- Test for Leaks: Once all connections are made, turn on the water supply and fill the sink. Check carefully for any leaks around the drain flange, lock nut, and P-trap connections. Tighten gently if necessary.
