5.2 Power Level Selection
The device features two power levels (high/low). Refer to the device's control panel or specific markings for selecting the desired power output. The optimal setting depends on fence length and vegetation.
5.3 Indicator Lights
Observe the indicator lights on the control panel for operational status:
- Green Light: Indicates normal operation and sufficient fence voltage.
- Red Light: May indicate a fault, low battery (for 12V operation), or insufficient fence voltage.
- Battery Symbol: (If present) Indicates battery status during 12V operation.
6. Maintenance
Care and Maintenance
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check the energizer, fence lines, and connections for any damage, corrosion, or loose parts.
- Cleaning: Keep the energizer clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care (12V operation): If using a 12V battery, ensure it is regularly charged and maintained according to the battery manufacturer's instructions to prevent deep discharge. The energizer has built-in deep discharge protection.
- Winter Storage: If storing the energizer for an extended period, especially during winter, disconnect it from all power sources and store it in a dry, protected area.
