Connection Cables and Earthing
2x 3m Connection Cables for Fence & Earth
The connection cables are factory-connected to the appliance and must be routed to the outside through the openings (4.1) in the side panel during commissioning.
Earthing
The underground cable is connected to one of the 6 ground rods using an M8 metal eyelet and a connecting screw (4.1). All 6 earth rods must be connected to each other (4.2) and driven into the ground at a distance of approximately 1 metre from each other.
Fence Connection
The fence connection cable is connected to the supplied stainless steel clamping plate (4.1) using an M8 metal eyelet and connected to the conductor material.

Electrifying the Padlock
The padlock can be electrified if required. Connect the pre-assembled connection cable (5.1) to the fence outlet (5.2) and secure with the red knurled nut.
Follow these steps:
- Switch the energiser's 1-0-II switch to 'II'.
- Switch your smart electric fence energiser OFF via the app.
- Close the solar station door and lock it with the supplied lock and insulated key.
- Switch your smart electric fence energiser ON via the app. The lock is now electrified.
ATTENTION: ALWAYS switch your smart electric fence energiser OFF via the app before opening the lock!

Mounting the Plastic Strip
To ensure that vegetation does not impair the performance of the solar module, mount the plastic strip at the bottom of the plastic pallet in the 3 provided holes using the 3 wood screws supplied.

Solar Module Orientation
Position the station so that the solar surface of the module faces South. Ensure that no grass, dirt, trees, or bushes obstruct the sunlight.

Battery Care and Winter Storage
If the station is to be taken out of operation for an extended period (e.g., winter), it is important to keep the battery charged.
Option 1: Solar Radiation
Switch off the electric fence energiser and place the entire Solar Station in a sunny location, orienting the module towards the sun.
Option 2: Using a Charger (Not Included)
Disconnect the 12V battery from the solar electric fence energiser. Reconnect it only for commissioning after storage.
- Connect the 230V charger (illustration provided) to the 12V battery using the red (+) and black (-) terminals.
- Plug the charger into the socket and charge as follows:
- At least 1 day before storage.
- At least every 3 months during a break in operation.
- At least 1 day before commissioning.
Storage Temperature: Frost-free.
ATTENTION: The 230V charger, including its trickle charge function, can remain permanently connected to the battery during storage.
