Setup
Setting the Time and Date
- Pull out the crown: Gently pull the crown out to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
- Set the time: Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accurate time setting, it is recommended to set the time a few minutes ahead and then turn it back to the correct time.
- Set the date: Push the crown in to the first click position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Push in the crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back in to the normal position. The second hand will resume movement.
Chronograph Hand Home Position Adjustment
If the chronograph hands do not return to the 12 o'clock position when reset, they may need adjustment.
- Pull out the crown: Pull the crown out to the second click position.
- Adjust chronograph hands: Use the pushers (A and B) to move the chronograph second hand and minute hand to the 12 o'clock position.
- Push in the crown: Push the crown back in to the normal position.
Operating the Watch
Timekeeping
Your watch operates on a precise quartz movement, providing accurate timekeeping. The main hands display hours, minutes, and seconds. The date is displayed in a window on the dial.
Using the Chronograph
The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time.
- Start/Stop: Press pusher A (top right button) to start the chronograph. Press A again to stop it.
- Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press pusher B (bottom right button) to reset all chronograph hands to the 12 o'clock position.
- Elapsed Time Measurement: The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in 1-second increments. The sub-dials indicate elapsed seconds, minutes, and 1/10th seconds.
Neo Display
The watch features a Neo display, which means the hands and/or markers are coated with a special luminous material that glows in the dark after exposure to light. This allows for easy readability in low-light conditions.
Water Resistance
This watch is rated for 10 ATM (100 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for everyday use, swimming, and snorkeling. It is not suitable for scuba diving or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather band, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. If the watch comes into contact with saltwater, rinse it with fresh water and dry thoroughly.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by one LR44 battery. When the battery runs low, the watch may lose accuracy or stop. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Leather Band Care
The genuine leather band is susceptible to wear and tear from moisture, sweat, and direct sunlight. To prolong its life, avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect time: Reset the time as described in the Setup section. Strong magnetic fields can affect quartz watch accuracy; keep the watch away from strong magnets.
- Chronograph hands not resetting to 12 o'clock: Perform the chronograph hand home position adjustment as described in the Setup section.
