Safety Information
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, extreme caution should be exercised since water is used with this equipment. For each of the following situations, do not attempt repairs yourself. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for service or discard the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug or receptacle getting wet, position the pump and tank to one side of a wall mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug. A "drip loop" should be arranged by the user for the cord connecting the appliance to a receptacle. The "drip loop" is that part of the cord below the level of the receptacle, or the connector if an extension cord is used, to prevent water traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the receptacle. If the plug or receptacle does get wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the appliance. Then unplug and examine for presence of water in the receptacle.
- Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never yank cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
- Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to the weather or to temperatures below freezing.
- Ensure the appliance is securely installed before operating it.
- Read and observe all important notices on the appliance.

- Submerge Pump: Fully submerge the pump in water. Ensure the water level is sufficient to cover the pump's intake.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once the pump is fully submerged and all connections are secure, plug the power cord into a grounded 110-120V 60Hz electrical outlet.
- Verify Operation: The pump should start immediately, circulating water. Check for proper water flow and ensure there are no unusual noises.
- Continuous Duty: The Jebao WP-2000 is designed for continuous operation.
- Power Off: To stop the pump, unplug it from the electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT: Never run the pump dry. Operating the pump without water will cause damage and void the warranty.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your pump.
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the pump from the power source before performing any maintenance.
- Clean Intake Grate: Periodically check and clean the intake grate to remove any debris (leaves, algae, etc.) that may obstruct water flow. Blockages can reduce pump efficiency and cause overheating.
- Impeller Cleaning: If the pump's performance decreases, the impeller may need cleaning.
- Remove the front cover of the pump.
- Carefully remove the impeller assembly.
- Clean the impeller and its housing with a soft brush and clean water. Remove any mineral deposits or debris.
- Reassemble the impeller and cover, ensuring all parts are securely in place.
- Winter Storage: If the pump will not be used during freezing temperatures, remove it from the water, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a frost-free location.
