- Never leave a child unattended on the changing chest.
- The changing pad should be securely placed on the changing chest.
- Do not allow children to climb on the changing chest drawers.
- The crib is designed for one child only.

4. Operation
4.1. Child's Bed Usage
The Pinolino Polar child's bed is designed for versatility and safety.
- Mattress Height Adjustment: The slatted bed base can be adjusted to 3 different heights (13 cm, 25 cm, and 43 cm from the floor).
- Use the highest position for newborns to easily access your baby.
- Lower the mattress as your baby grows and begins to sit up or pull themselves up, to prevent them from climbing out.
- Always ensure the mattress is at the lowest position before your child can stand.
- Conversion to Junior Bed/Sofa: The child's bed is convertible. Once your child outgrows the crib, you can remove the barred sides and replace them with the provided conversion sides to transform it into a junior bed or a small sofa. This extends the lifespan of the furniture. Refer to the assembly instructions for specific steps on conversion.
- Removable Slats: The crib features 3 removable slats, allowing older toddlers to independently enter and exit the bed safely.

4.2. Changing Chest Usage
The large changing chest provides ample storage and a convenient changing surface.
- Changing Surface: Place a suitable changing pad (not included) on the removable changing table top. Always keep one hand on your baby while changing to prevent falls.
- Drawer Storage: Utilize the three large drawers for storing diapers, wipes, clothing, and other baby essentials. The soft-close mechanism ensures quiet operation, preventing sudden noises that might disturb your baby.
- Removable Changing Top: The changing table top is removable. Once your child no longer requires a changing station, the chest can be used as a regular dresser, extending its utility for many years.

5. Maintenance
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your Pinolino Polar nursery furniture.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Use mild soap if necessary, then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or furniture polish, as these can damage the lacquered finish.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all screws, bolts, and fittings to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain structural integrity and safety.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading or discoloration of the white finish.
