Key Components:
- Motor Unit: Powers the compressor, 150 Watt.
- Air Tank: 3-liter capacity for consistent air pressure.
- Pressure Regulator: Adjusts the output air pressure.
- Manometer: Displays the current air pressure.
- Air Filter/Water Trap: Removes moisture and impurities from the air.
- Auto-Stop Function: Automatically shuts off when desired pressure is reached, saving energy.
- Carrying Handle: For easy transport.
Setup
Follow these steps to set up your AMUR UNIVERSAL II Airbrush Compressor:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the compressor on a flat, stable, and dry surface with adequate ventilation.
- Attach Air Filter/Regulator: Screw the air filter and pressure regulator assembly onto the designated port on the compressor. Ensure it is hand-tightened to prevent air leaks.
- Connect Air Hose: Connect your airbrush hose (not included) to the output port of the pressure regulator. The connection is 1/8 inch (0.3 cm) diameter.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 230V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The compressor will start to fill the air tank.
- Pressure Regulation: Once the tank is filled (the compressor will automatically stop at approximately 4 bar), adjust the pressure regulator knob to set your desired working pressure. The manometer will display the current output pressure.
- Begin Airbrushing: Start your airbrushing work. The compressor will automatically restart when the pressure in the tank drops below approximately 3 bar to maintain consistent airflow.
- Power Off: When finished, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position.
- Depressurize: After turning off, release any remaining air pressure from the airbrush hose and tank by briefly pressing the airbrush trigger or opening the tank drain valve (if applicable).
Note: The compressor is designed for intermittent use. Avoid continuous operation for extended periods without allowing it to cool down. The auto-stop feature helps manage this.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor.
- Drain Moisture: Periodically drain any accumulated moisture from the air filter's water trap. Unscrew the bottom of the water trap to release the water.
- Clean Air Filter: Inspect the air filter element regularly. Clean or replace it if it appears dirty or clogged to ensure proper airflow.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe down the exterior of the compressor with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Oil-Free Design: This compressor is oil-free and requires no lubrication. Do not attempt to add oil.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the compressor in a dry, dust-free environment.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not turn on. | No power supply; Power switch off. | Check power cord connection and wall outlet; Ensure power switch is in "ON" position. |
| No air output or low pressure. | Air hose kinked or disconnected; Regulator set too low; Air filter clogged; Leak in connections. | Check air hose for obstructions; Adjust pressure regulator; Clean or replace air filter; Tighten all connections. |
| Compressor runs continuously. | Air leak in system; Auto-stop malfunction. | Check all connections for leaks; If problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Excessive noise or vibration. | Compressor not on a stable surface; Internal issue. | Place on a stable, level surface; If noise is unusual, discontinue use and contact support. |
