  • Ensure the power source matches the cooler's voltage requirements (12V, 24V, or 220V).
  • Do not immerse the cooler or its electrical components in water.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear and unobstructed to prevent overheating.
  • Avoid placing hot items directly into the cooler; allow them to cool first.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects inside the cooler.
  • Disconnect power before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Inspection

Upon unpacking, inspect the cooler for any signs of damage. Ensure all components, including power cables, are present and in good condition.

3.2 Power Connection

The Mobicool W40 supports three voltage ranges:

  • 12V DC: For use in vehicles (cars, trucks, RVs) via the cigarette lighter socket. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on if required by the vehicle's electrical system.
  • 24V DC: For use in some heavy-duty vehicles or specific setups.
  • 220V AC: For use with standard household power outlets.

Connect the appropriate power cable to the cooler's input port and then to the power source. The cooler will begin to operate once connected.

3.3 Placement

Place the cooler on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the cooler, especially near the fan and heat dissipation areas, to allow for efficient cooling.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Cooling Performance

The Mobicool W40 can cool contents up to 18°C below the ambient temperature. For best results, pre-chill items before placing them in the cooler. The cooling process is continuous when powered.

4.2 Capacity

With a generous 39-liter capacity, the cooler can accommodate multiple items, including 2-liter bottles standing upright. The internal design allows for efficient organization of contents.

4.3 Split Lid Design

The cooler features a split lid, which minimizes cold air loss when opening. This design helps maintain the internal temperature more effectively, especially during frequent access.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the cooler:

  1. Disconnect the cooler from all power sources.
  2. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
  3. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
  4. Ensure the cooler is completely dry before reconnecting to power or storing.

5.2 Storage

When not in use, store the cooler in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors and mildew buildup.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Mobicool W40 cooler, refer to the following troubleshooting steps:

6.1 Device Not Working (Plug Inserted)

  • No voltage from vehicle's DC socket (cigarette lighter): In most vehicles, the ignition must be on to supply current to the cigarette lighter. Check your vehicle's manual.
  • No voltage present in the AC socket: Try using a different power outlet to rule out an issue with the socket.
  • Internal fan or cooling element is defective: This issue requires professional repair. Contact an authorized repair center.

6.2 Operating on DC Socket (Cigarette Lighter) / Ignition On, But Cooler Not Working

  • Dirty DC socket connection: Poor electrical contact can occur if the DC socket connection is dirty. If the cooler's plug becomes very hot in the DC socket, clean the connection or check the plug assembly.
  • DC socket fuse has blown: Replace the fuse in the DC plug with another of the same rating.
  • Vehicle fuse has blown: Replace the vehicle's DC socket fuse (typically 15 A). Consult your vehicle's fuse box diagram.
