- Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and level surface.
- Insert the strainer basket into the motor base, ensuring it sits firmly.
- Place the juicer cover over the strainer basket and align it with the motor base.
- Secure the locking clips on both sides of the juicer cover to the motor base. Ensure they click into place.
- Insert the food pusher into the feed chute opening on the juicer cover.
- Position the pulp container under the pulp spout and the juice cup under the juice spout.

Operating Instructions
The Hamilton Beach Health Smart Juice Extractor is designed for efficient juicing of fruits and vegetables. Its wide mouth chute minimizes the need for pre-cutting.
- Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and securely locked.
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Prepare your fruits and vegetables. For apples, it is recommended to remove seeds to avoid grinding them. The wide mouth chute can accommodate whole or large pieces of many fruits and vegetables, reducing preparation time.
- Place a glass or the provided juice cup under the juice spout.
- Turn the juicer ON using the switch located on the front of the unit.
- Gradually feed the prepared fruits or vegetables into the feed chute. Use the food pusher to gently guide them down. Do not force food into the chute.
- Observe the juice flowing into your cup and the pulp collecting in the pulp container.
- Once juicing is complete, turn the juicer OFF and unplug it from the outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
