1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Redi-Remote replacement remote control, designed to operate specific Yamaha audio/video receivers. 2. Setup and Battery Installation

The Redi-Remote replacement remote control requires 4 AAA batteries for operation. Batteries are included with the remote.

2.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: This remote control does not require programming. It is ready for use with your compatible Yamaha unit immediately after battery installation.

3. Operating the Remote Control

3.1 Basic Functions (Upper Section)

The upper section of the remote provides primary controls for daily use.

  • PWR (Power): Turns the Yamaha unit on or off.
  • VOL +/- (Volume): Adjusts the master volume level.
  • MUTE: Mutes or unmutes the audio output.
  • CH +/- (Channel): Navigates through channels (if applicable to the connected unit's tuner function).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning
