4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Beetel M59 phone:
- Connect the Line Cord: Plug one end of the line cord into the wall jack and the other end into the port labeled "LINE" on the back of the phone.
- Connect the Coil Cord: Plug one end of the coil cord into the handset and the other end into the port labeled "HANDSET" on the side of the phone base.
- Install Batteries (Optional for some features): The phone requires 2 AA batteries for certain features like LCD backlight and memory retention during power outages. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the phone and insert 2 AA batteries, observing polarity.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Making and Receiving Calls
- To Make a Call: Lift the handset, wait for the dial tone, and dial the desired number.
- To Receive a Call: When the phone rings, lift the handset to answer.
- Using Speaker Phone: Press the Speaker button (often indicated by a speaker icon) to activate hands-free mode. Press again to deactivate.

5.2 Caller ID and Display

5.3 One-Touch Memory Buttons
