3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Beetel X62 Cordless Phone:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the handset, base unit, power adapter, and telephone line cord.
  2. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the handset. Insert the 2 AAA rechargeable batteries (included) according to the polarity markings. Close the compartment securely.
  3. Connecting the Base Unit:
    • Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the LINE jack on the base unit and the other end to your telephone wall jack.
    • Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the base unit and plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Making a Call

  1. Pick up the handset or press the TALK button.
  2. Dial the desired phone number using the keypad.
  3. Press the TALK button again or place the handset back on the base unit to end the call.

4.2 Receiving a Call

  • When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the TALK button.
  • To end the call, press the END CALL button (red button) or place the handset back on the base unit.

4.3 Adjusting Volume

During a call, press the VOL (Volume) button to adjust the earpiece or speakerphone volume.

4.4 Using the Speakerphone

During a call, press the SPEAKERPHONE button (often integrated with the TALK button or a separate icon) to activate hands-free mode. Press it again to return to handset mode.

4.5 Phonebook

  1. Press the MENU button.
  2. Navigate to the "Phonebook" option using the arrow keys (often integrated with CID/RD buttons).

6. Troubleshooting
