3. Operating the Lens
3.1 Focus Mode Switch (AF/MF)
The lens features an AF/MF switch on its barrel to select between Autofocus and Manual Focus modes.
- AF (Autofocus): For automatic focusing. The camera will control the focus.
- MF (Manual Focus): For manual focusing. Rotate the focus ring to adjust focus.

3.2 Aperture Control
The lens has a maximum aperture of F1.4 and a minimum aperture of F16. Aperture is controlled via the camera body. A wider aperture (smaller f-number) allows more light and creates a shallower depth of field, while a narrower aperture (larger f-number) allows less light and creates a greater depth of field.
3.3 Focusing Distance
The minimum focusing distance for this lens is 30 cm (11.8 inches). This allows for close-up photography while maintaining sharp detail.

4. Maintenance and Care
4.1 Cleaning the Lens
To clean the lens surfaces, use a lens blower to remove dust, then gently wipe with a clean, soft lens cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of lens cleaning fluid applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.

4.2 Storage
When not in use, store the lens with both front and rear caps attached in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The included carrying case provides additional protection.
4.3 Handling Precautions
- Avoid exposing the lens to sudden temperature changes, which can cause condensation.
- Do not touch the lens elements directly with your fingers.
- Protect the lens from strong impacts or vibrations.
5. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
