Setup and Initial Use
Battery Installation: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the three included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Placement: For accurate readings, place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring, as this can affect measurement precision.
First Use: The scale features "Step-On" technology. Simply step onto the scale to activate it. The display will show "0.0" and then your weight. The scale will announce the weight in the default language (English).

Operating Instructions
Taking a Weight Measurement: Step onto the center of the scale platform with bare feet. Stand still until your weight is displayed and announced. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.
Changing Language and Units: The scale can announce weights in English, Spanish, Greek, German, or Croatian, and display in pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg). On the underside of the scale, locate the function button. Press this button once to cycle through the available languages and units. Step on the scale after each press to hear the new setting.

Adjusting Volume: A volume dial is located on the side of the scale. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the announcement volume to your preference. Step on the scale to test the new volume setting.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning: Wipe the scale's glass platform and stainless steel accents with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the surface. Do not immerse the scale in water.
Storage: Store the scale in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Ensure it is placed on a flat surface to prevent damage to the sensors.
Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continued accurate operation.
