Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops functioning. Always replace all four AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
4.2 Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive moisture, as this can damage the remote's electronics.
5. Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the television's infrared sensor.
- Check battery orientation and ensure they are fresh. Replace if necessary.
- Verify that the remote is pointed directly at the television.
- Specific buttons not working:
- Clean the remote surface, especially around the unresponsive buttons, to remove any debris.
- Ensure the sliding cover is fully open if you are trying to access lower-section buttons.
- Remote controls other devices:
- This Redi-Remote is designed specifically for the listed Admiral television models and cannot be programmed to control auxiliary devices. If it is affecting other devices, ensure it is only being used with the intended Admiral television.
