Cleaning
To clean the remote control, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the remote. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace the batteries with fresh ones.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the VCR's infrared sensor.
- Confirm you are within the effective operating range and pointing the remote directly at the VCR.
- Remote functions are incorrect or erratic:
- This remote is pre-programmed and does not require user programming. If functions are incorrect, verify that your Daewoo VCR model is listed as compatible (DVT5DN, DVT84N, DVT27N, DVT47N, DVT8DN, 97P1R2TDA0, DVT3DN).
