Setup

Powering the Unit

The StompLab 2G can be powered by either an optional AC adapter (DC 9V) or four AAA batteries. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity. When using an AC adapter, connect it to the DC 9V input jack.

Connecting Your Equipment

Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack. Connect the OUTPUT / PHONES (STEREO / MONO) jack to your amplifier's input or to headphones for silent practice. This output can be used for both mono and stereo connections.

Operating Instructions

Navigating Presets

The StompLab 2G features 100 preset programs organized by musical style. Use the CATEGORY knob to select a style (e.g., Rock, Blues, Jazz/Fusion). Within each category, use the UP and DOWN footswitches to cycle through the variations. The display will show the program number.

Editing and Saving User Programs

The StompLab 2G allows you to create and save up to 20 user programs. To edit a program:

  1. Select a user program slot (U0-U19) using the CATEGORY knob.
  2. Press the EDIT button. The program name will begin blinking.
  3. Use the EFFECT TYPE buttons to select the effect parameter you wish to adjust (e.g., PDL, AMP/DRV, CAB, MOD, DLY, REV).
  4. Adjust the GAIN / [VALUE1] and LEVEL / [VALUE2] knobs to modify the selected effect's parameters.
  5. To save your changes, press and hold the EDIT button until the display stops blinking.

The expression pedal (EXP) can be assigned to control various parameters like volume or wah. Refer to the detailed parameter charts in the full manual for specific assignments and values.

Using the Tuner

To activate the built-in tuner, press and hold the BYPASS / TUNER footswitch. The display will show the note name, and the LEDs will indicate tuning accuracy. Press the footswitch again to exit tuner mode.
