Operating Instructions
The Vista Pro GR2216 is a low voltage landscape lighting fixture designed for continuous outdoor operation when connected to a compatible 12-volt power source.
- Power On/Off: The fixture's operation is controlled by the main power switch of your low voltage landscape lighting transformer or system. If your system includes a timer or photocell, the fixture will operate according to those settings.
- Light Direction Adjustment: The fixture features an adjustable knuckle. Loosen the adjustment screw, reposition the fixture head to direct light as desired, and then tighten the screw to secure its position.
- Lamp Replacement: To replace the lamp, ensure the power is disconnected. Carefully open the shroud, remove the old GU5.3 lamp, and insert a new one (maximum 50W). Close the shroud securely.
- Control Method: If your landscape lighting system is equipped with an app-controlled transformer, you may be able to control the on/off function and scheduling of the fixture via the associated application.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Vista Pro GR2216 fixture.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the fixture and the glass lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspect Wiring: Annually inspect all wiring and connections for signs of wear, fraying, or corrosion. Ensure all waterproof connections remain sealed.
- Check Stability: Ensure the ground stake remains firmly planted in the soil. Re-secure if necessary.
- Gasket Integrity: If replacing the lens or performing internal maintenance, ensure the silicone O-ring gaskets are properly seated and free of damage to maintain the weather-tight seal.
