Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the Rokuhan Z Gauge R047 Rail Set B Siding Set. This set features a track with a 6.5mm gauge and integrated roadbed. The metal components, such as the rails, are constructed from highly conductive nickel silver, with some parts made from stainless steel. The roadbed joints are designed as separate, replaceable parts for easy maintenance. The rail cross-section is a specially designed "E" shape.
Recommended age for use: 8 years and up.

Setup
1. Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Track Assembly
The Rokuhan Z Gauge track system features an integrated roadbed for easy assembly. Follow these steps to set up your track layout:
- Connect the straight rails by aligning the rail joiners and gently pushing them together until they are securely interlocked.
- Integrate the curved rails to form the desired layout. Ensure all connections are flush and stable.
- Position the left and right point rails to create the siding. Ensure the point rails are securely connected to the main track sections.
- The roadbed joints are designed to be easily connected. If a joint is damaged, it can be replaced with a new one (sold separately).
Operating Instructions
1. Power Connection
Connect your Z Gauge power supply (sold separately) to the track. Ensure the power supply is compatible with Z Gauge systems and is correctly wired according to its own instructions.
2. Placing Rolling Stock
Carefully place your Z Gauge locomotives and cars onto the assembled track. Ensure all wheels are properly seated on the rails.
3. Operating the Point Rails
The point rails allow you to switch trains between the main line and the siding. Manually operate the lever on the point rail to change the track direction. Ensure the points are fully switched before a train passes over them to prevent derailment.
4. Running Trains
Gradually increase the power from your controller to start the train. Adjust the speed as desired. Always operate trains at appropriate speeds for the track layout to prevent derailments.
Maintenance
1. Rail Cleaning
Regularly clean the rail surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure good electrical conductivity. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the rail material.
2. Track Inspection
Periodically inspect all track sections for any damage, loose connections, or debris. Ensure the roadbed joints are secure. Replace any damaged components promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety.
3. Storage
When not in use, store the track set in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive dust, and extreme temperatures. Proper storage helps prolong the life of the product.
Troubleshooting
Train Not Moving
- Check power supply connection to the track.
- Ensure all rail connections are secure and there are no gaps.
- Clean the rail surfaces and locomotive wheels to remove any dirt or oxidation.
- Verify the power supply is turned on and functioning correctly.
Derailment
- Ensure all track sections are properly connected and laid flat on a stable surface.
- Check that point rails are fully switched to the desired direction before trains pass over them.
- Inspect rolling stock for any damaged wheels, couplers, or other components that might cause derailment.
- Reduce train speed, especially on curves and through points.
