1. Introduction

3. Setup and Battery Installation

This Redi-Remote replacement control requires no programming. Simply install the batteries, and it is ready for use with your compatible Jensen unit.

3.1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover off in the direction indicated by the arrow (if present).
3. Insert four (4) AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside. (Batteries are typically included with the remote).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: Always use new batteries and replace all four batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

4. Operating Instructions

The Redi-Remote is designed to replicate the functionality of your original Jensen remote. Point the remote directly at your Jensen unit for optimal performance.

4.1. Basic Functions (Upper Section)

• PWR (Power): Turns the Jensen unit on or off.
• SLEEP: Activates the sleep timer function.
• TVI/VIDEO: Switches between TV and Video input sources.
• DISP (Display): Toggles display information on the screen.
• VOL + / VOL - (Volume): Adjusts the audio volume level.
• MUTE: Silences or restores the audio.
