1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Dispose of packaging responsibly. Check the appliance for any signs of damage during transit. If damage is found, do not install or operate the refrigerator and contact your retailer.

3.2 Placement

Place the refrigerator on a firm, level floor. Ensure adequate air circulation around the appliance. Avoid placing it near heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators) or in direct sunlight. Maintain the following clearances:

  • At least 10 cm (4 inches) at the back.
  • At least 5 cm (2 inches) on the sides.
  • At least 10 cm (4 inches) at the top.

3.3 Leveling

Adjust the front leveling feet to ensure the appliance is stable and level. This prevents vibrations and ensures proper door closure.

3.4 Electrical Connection

Connect the appliance to a dedicated, properly grounded electrical outlet. The voltage and frequency must match the specifications on the rating plate inside the refrigerator. Do not use extension cords or multiple adapters.

4.1 Control Panel

The control panel allows you to adjust temperature settings for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments, and activate special functions.

  • Power Button: Turns the appliance on or off.
  • Super Freeze: Activates rapid freezing for new items, preserving their quality.
  • Freezer Temperature: Adjusts the freezer temperature from -18°C to -26°C.
  • Super Cool: Activates rapid cooling for new items in the refrigerator compartment.
  • Refrigerator Temperature: Adjusts the refrigerator temperature from +2°C to +8°C.

4.2 Refrigerator Compartment

The upper section is the refrigerator compartment, featuring adjustable shelves and specialized drawers.

  • Adjustable Shelves: Position shelves to accommodate items of various sizes.
  • Humidity Control Drawers: Designed to maintain optimal humidity levels for fruits and vegetables, extending their freshness.

  • Food Care Zone (0°C): A dedicated drawer for delicate foods like fresh meat and fish, maintaining a temperature close to 0°C to preserve their quality for longer.

4.3 Freezer Compartment

The lower section is the freezer compartment, featuring drawers for organized storage and an ice maker.

  • Twist Ice Maker: Fill the trays with water, allow to freeze, then twist the knobs to release ice cubes into the collection bin below.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your appliance.

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Clean the interior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or hot water, as these can damage surfaces.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with water and a mild detergent. For stainless steel finishes, use a specialized stainless steel cleaner. Avoid getting water into the control panel area.

5.3 Defrosting

This appliance features a No Frost (ventilated) freezer system, which automatically prevents ice build-up, eliminating the need for manual defrosting of the freezer compartment. The refrigerator compartment also defrosts automatically.
