Product Overview
The LiteFuze LT Series 3000 Watt Voltage Converter Transformer is a heavy-duty device designed for converting electrical voltage between 110V/120V AC and 220V/240V AC. It features a universal output socket, circuit breaker protection, and Convertingbox™ technology for efficiency and reduced size. This transformer is suitable for worldwide use with various electronic appliances, ensuring safe and reliable power conversion.
Key Features
- Universal Output Socket: Equipped with a universal outlet that accepts plugs from most countries and is fully grounded for safe operation.
- Convertingbox™ Technology: Utilizes a toroidal transformer for improved efficiency, quiet operation, and a more compact, lighter design compared to traditional transformers.
- Circuit Breaker Protection: Protects electronics and the transformer from power or voltage overload. No need to replace fuses; simply reset the circuit breaker.
- Heavy Duty Step Up/Down Operation: Converts 110V/117V/120V AC to 220V/230V/240V AC, or 220V/230V/240V AC to 110V/117V/120V AC.
- Lifetime Copper Coil: Features premium copper coils and wiring for reliable and efficient performance over an extended period.
- CE Certified: Designed with safety in mind and meets CE certification standards.
Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Transformer: Carefully remove the LiteFuze LT-3000 voltage converter from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage.
- Place the Transformer: Position the transformer on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure it is not obstructed by other objects.
- Select Input Voltage: Locate the input voltage selector switch on the back of the unit. Set it to match the voltage of your local power source (e.g., 110V-120V or 220V-240V). Warning: Incorrect input voltage selection can damage the unit and connected appliances.
- Connect Power Cord: Plug the detachable power cord into the input socket on the back of the transformer. Then, plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet matching the selected input voltage.
- Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the front panel to the 'ON' position. The power indicator light should illuminate.
- Connect Appliance: Plug your appliance into the appropriate output socket on the front of the transformer. Use the AC 110-120V output for 110V/120V appliances or the AC 220-240V universal output for 220V/240V appliances.
- Verify Appliance Wattage: Ensure the wattage of your appliance does not exceed 60% of the transformer's maximum capacity (3000 Watts). For heat-producing appliances like coffee makers or toasters, it is recommended to use a transformer with a maximum wattage at least 3 times higher than the appliance's rating.

Operating Instructions
The LiteFuze LT-3000 transformer allows for both step-up and step-down voltage conversion. Always ensure the input voltage switch on the back is correctly set before connecting to a power source.
- Step-Up Operation (110V/120V to 220V/240V):
- Set the input voltage switch on the back of the transformer to "AC 110V-120V".
- Plug the transformer's power cord into a standard 110V/120V wall outlet.
- Plug your 220V/240V appliance into the "OUTPUT AC 220-240V" universal socket on the front of the transformer.
- Step-Down Operation (220V/240V to 110V/120V):
- Set the input voltage switch on the back of the transformer to "AC 220V-240V".
- Plug the transformer's power cord into a standard 220V/240V wall outlet.
- Plug your 110V/120V appliance into the "OUTPUT AC 110-120V" sockets on the front of the transformer.
Important Note: These transformers only convert voltage. The output frequency (Hz) remains the same as the input frequency. This transformer is not designed to operate on US 220V (dual phase) and is not compatible with US 220V appliances.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the transformer from the power source before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the unit are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the transformer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Cord Care: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Do not use the unit if the cord is frayed or damaged.
Troubleshooting
- No Power Indicator Light:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the transformer and the wall outlet.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify the wall outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
- Check if the circuit breaker on the unit has tripped. Press the reset button if it has.
- Appliance Not Working:
- Confirm the appliance is correctly plugged into the appropriate output socket (110V/120V or 220V/240V).
- Ensure the input voltage switch on the back of the transformer matches your local power supply.
- Verify the appliance's wattage does not exceed the transformer's recommended load capacity.
- Check the appliance's own power switch and functionality.
- Unit Overheating:
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the transformer. Do not cover the vents.
- Reduce the load by disconnecting some appliances if the total wattage exceeds the recommended capacity.
