Setup and Assembly

Assembly typically requires basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets). It is recommended to have a second person assist with assembly due to the size and weight of the components.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Verify all components listed in the "Package Contents" section are present.
  2. Assemble Basket Sections: Connect the various sections of the cargo basket frame using the provided bolts, nuts, and washers. Do not fully tighten hardware until all sections are loosely assembled.
  3. Attach Hitch Bar: Securely attach the hitch bar to the assembled cargo basket frame using the designated hardware. Ensure the hitch bar is oriented correctly for insertion into your vehicle's hitch receiver.
  4. Install Reflectors: Attach the two red reflectors to the rear of the cargo carrier for enhanced visibility.
  5. Final Tightening: Once all components are correctly aligned, progressively tighten all bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
  6. Insert into Hitch Receiver: Slide the hitch bar into your vehicle's 5.1 cm x 5.1 cm (2-inch x 2-inch) hitch receiver. Align the hitch pin holes and insert the hitch pin, securing it with the clip.
