Setup

1. Install Battery: Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the styler handle. Insert the provided AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Screw the cap back on tightly to ensure the device remains waterproof.
2. Attach Razor Cartridge: Align the ProGlide Power cartridge with the top of the styler handle. Press firmly until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button on the side of the handle and pull the cartridge off.
3. Attach Comb Guides: For trimming, select one of the three comb guides (2 mm, 4 mm, or 6 mm). Slide the comb guide onto the trimmer head until it snaps securely into place.

Operating Instructions

The Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler offers three primary functions:

1. Trimming

Use the integrated trimmer with or without the comb guides to achieve your desired beard length.

• Attach the desired comb guide (2mm, 4mm, or 6mm) for consistent length.
• Turn on the styler using the power button.
• Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for an even trim.
• For precise shaping or shorter lengths, remove the comb guide and use the bare trimmer blade.

2. Shaving

Attach the ProGlide Power cartridge for a close and comfortable shave.

• Ensure the ProGlide Power cartridge is securely attached.
• Apply shaving gel or foam to the area to be shaved.
• Shave with smooth, even strokes. The power blades are designed for a close and comfortable experience.

3. Edging

Use the precision edging blade for crisp, defined lines and finishing touches.

• Remove any comb guides or the razor cartridge to expose the precision trimmer blade.
• Hold the styler at an angle to create sharp lines around your beard, mustache, or sideburns.
• The compact size of the trimmer allows for maneuverability in tight areas.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your styler.

• Cleaning: The styler is waterproof. After each use, rinse the trimmer head and razor cartridge under running water to remove hair and debris. For thorough cleaning of the trimmer head, you may need to use a small brush (like an old toothbrush) to dislodge trapped hairs, especially in the area where hair collects.
• Blade Replacement: Replace the ProGlide Power cartridge when the lubrication strip fades or when you feel the blades are no longer providing a comfortable shave.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the AA battery when the trimmer's power diminishes. Ensure the battery compartment is dry before opening and closing.
