Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Casio LW-202H-1AVCF watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not recommended for swimming, diving, or prolonged water activities. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.
Cleaning Your Watch
Wipe the watch case and band with a soft, dry cloth. If the watch is exposed to saltwater, rinse it with fresh water and wipe it dry immediately. Avoid using chemical cleaners, as they may damage the watch's materials.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by one product-specific battery. When the display becomes dim or the backlight weakens, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-adjust the time and date settings as described in the "Setting the Time and Date" section. Ensure the 12/24-hour format is set correctly.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not wet. If the issue persists, a reset may be required (consult a service center) or the battery may be too low.
- Water inside the watch: Immediately take the watch to a qualified service center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this will void the warranty and compromise water resistance.
