4. Setup & Assembly

Assembly typically requires two people. Ensure you have adequate space and all components before beginning.

Tools Required:

  • Included Allen Wrench
  • (Optional) Adjustable Wrench

Assembly Steps:

  1. Carefully place the tabletop upside down on a soft, non-abrasive surface (e.g., a blanket or cardboard) to prevent scratching the finish.
  2. Attach each table leg to the designated mounting points on the underside of the tabletop. Align the holes and insert the bolts with washers.
  3. Hand-tighten all bolts initially. Do not fully tighten until all legs are in place.
  4. Once all legs are attached, gradually tighten all bolts using the provided Allen wrench. Ensure even tightening to prevent wobbling.
  5. Carefully turn the assembled table upright.
  6. Check for stability. If the table wobbles, loosen the bolts slightly, adjust the table on a flat surface, and then re-tighten.

5. Usage Instructions

Placement:

Position the dining table on a level, stable outdoor surface. Avoid placing it directly under trees that shed sap or leaves excessively, which can stain the finish.

Umbrella Use:

The table includes a center hole for an outdoor umbrella. Insert the umbrella pole through the hole and secure it with an appropriate umbrella base (sold separately). Always close and secure the umbrella during windy conditions or when not in use to prevent damage to the table or umbrella.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Darlee patio dining table.

  • Cleaning: Clean the table regularly with a soft cloth, mild soap, and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, brushes, or harsh chemicals that can damage the powder-coated finish.
  • Rust Prevention: While cast aluminum is naturally rust-resistant, the powder-coated finish provides an additional layer of protection. Inspect the finish periodically for any chips or scratches and touch up with appropriate outdoor furniture paint if necessary to prevent corrosion.
  • Winter Storage: In colder climates or during extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to cover the table with a breathable outdoor furniture cover or store it in a sheltered area to protect it from extreme weather conditions.
  • Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
