The Ardes 8100 features an adjustable cutting width. Turn the thickness adjustment knob, typically located on the side or back of the slicer, to set your desired slice thickness. Start with a thicker setting and adjust as needed.
3.2 Loading Food
Place the food item (e.g., meat, cheese, bread) firmly onto the food carriage tray. Secure it against the food guide plate using the food pusher. Ensure the food is stable and will not shift during slicing.
3.3 Powering On and Slicing
- Ensure your hands are clear of the blade.
- Press the safety button to activate the slicer. The stainless steel blade will begin rotating at 260 RPM.
- Using the food pusher, gently guide the food item along the carriage towards the rotating blade.
- Collect the sliced food from the receiving tray. The tray has a travel distance of 252 mm.
- When finished, release the safety button to turn off the slicer.
Caution: Never attempt to slice frozen foods or foods containing bones, as this can damage the blade and motor.

- It is recommended to wear cut-resistant gloves during blade cleaning.
- Carefully wipe both sides of the blade with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

- Dry the blade completely before reassembly or storage to prevent rust.

When not in use, store the Ardes 8100 Slicer in a clean, dry place, out of reach of children. Ensure the slice thickness is set to the "0" or fully closed position to protect the blade edge.
