  2. Set Temperature: Use the temperature dial on the oven lid to select the desired cooking temperature (ranging from 250°F to 480°F).
  3. Set Time: Use the time dial to set the cooking duration (up to 60 minutes). The oven will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Fagor Halogen Tabletop Oven.

  • Always unplug the oven and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Glass Bowl and Racks: The 12-Quart tempered glass bowl, extender ring, and cooking racks are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. For stubborn residue, soak in warm, soapy water before washing.
  • Nonstick Fry Pan: Wash with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers to protect the nonstick coating.
  • Oven Lid (Heating Element & Fan): Do not immerse the lid in water. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. For internal splatter on the fan blades or bulb, it may be necessary to partially disassemble the lid with a screwdriver. This is a delicate operation and should only be performed when the unit is unplugged and cool. Exercise extreme caution to avoid damaging components.
  • Handle Care: The lid handle is crucial for operation and lifting. While robust, avoid excessive force when lifting the hot lid. Consider using two hands or placing the lid directly on the metal extender ring on a heat-resistant surface to reduce stress on the handle.
