4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective frying:
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V, 50/60Hz). The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Set Temperature: Turn the adjustable thermostat dial to your desired frying temperature, typically between 150°C and 190°C. Refer to food packaging for specific temperature recommendations.
- Preheat Oil: Allow the oil to preheat. The indicator light will turn off when the set temperature is reached, indicating the oil is ready for frying. This usually takes several minutes.
- Prepare Food: Ensure food is dry before placing it in the basket. Excess moisture can cause oil to splatter. Do not overload the basket; the fryer has a capacity of 0.7 kg of food.
- Lower Basket: Carefully lower the frying basket with food into the hot oil. Close the lid.
- Fry: Fry for the recommended time. You can monitor the cooking process through the viewing window without opening the lid.
- Remove Food: Once cooked, lift the basket out of the oil and allow excess oil to drain.
- Serve: Carefully transfer the fried food to a serving dish.
- Power Off: After use, turn the thermostat dial to the 'OFF' position and unplug the fryer from the wall outlet.
