Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your SPC 7608N DECT Phone. 1. Setup
1.1 Unboxing and Components
Before you begin, ensure all components are present in the package:
- SPC 7608N Handset
- Base Station
- Power Adapter for Base Station
- Telephone Line Cord (RJ11)
- 2 x AAA Rechargeable Batteries
- User Manual (this document)
1.2 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the handset.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the 2 AAA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
1.3 Base Station Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the 'DC IN' port on the back of the base station, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- Connect one end of the RJ11 telephone line cord to the 'LINE' port on the base station.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to your telephone wall jack.

1.4 Initial Charge
Place the handset on the base station. Ensure it is properly seated and the charging indicator (if present) illuminates. For optimal battery life, allow the handset to charge continuously for at least 12-15 hours before its first use, even if the display indicates a full charge sooner.
2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Making Calls
- Press the Green Call Button 📞 to get a dial tone.
- Dial the desired phone number using the large numeric keypad.
- Press the Red End Call Button ☎️ to end the call or place the handset back on the base station.

2.2 Receiving Calls and Hands-Free Function
When the phone rings, the caller's number (if available and service activated) will be displayed on the large illuminated blue screen. Press the Green Call Button 📞 to answer.
To use the hands-free (speakerphone) function during a call, press the Speakerphone Button 🔊. Press it again to switch back to the handset earpiece.
2.3 Phonebook Management (20 Entries)
The phonebook allows you to store up to 20 contacts. Refer to the on-screen menu for detailed instructions on adding, editing, and deleting contacts. Typically, you will access the phonebook via the OK/MENU button.
2.4 Direct Memory Buttons (M1, M2)
The M1 and M2 buttons provide quick access to frequently called numbers. To program these buttons:
- Press and hold the desired memory button (M1 or M2) until the display prompts you to enter a number.
- Enter the phone number you wish to save.
- Press the OK/MENU button to confirm.
To dial a stored number, simply press the M1 or M2 button.

2.5 Volume Adjustment and Hearing Aid Compatibility
During a call, use the Up/Down Navigation Buttons ▲▼ to adjust the earpiece volume. The SPC 7608N offers an additional +10 dB amplification for increased handset volume, beneficial for users with hearing difficulties.
This phone is compatible with hearing aids in T-position, ensuring clear audio for users with hearing assistance devices.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
To clean your phone, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these can damage the phone's surface. Ensure no liquid enters the phone's openings.
3.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life:
- Always use the supplied rechargeable batteries.
- Place the handset on the base station when not in use to ensure it remains charged.
- If the phone will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
