3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully unpack the Stereo192-DSD DAC M and all accessories.
- Place the unit on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- This unit is equipped with a 100V power transformer specifically for the Japanese market. Ensure your power supply matches this requirement.
3.2 Connecting Your Device
The Stereo192-DSD DAC M offers a variety of digital inputs and analog outputs for versatile connectivity.
Digital Inputs:
- USB 2.0 / USB 1.1: Connect your computer or digital audio source using a standard USB cable. Supports PCM up to 192kHz and DSD64/128 playback.

- Unbalanced Line Output (RCA L/R): Connect to unbalanced inputs of your amplifier or active speakers using RCA cables.
- Headphone Output (Unbalanced): Connect your headphones to the front panel 1/4-inch jack. The integrated headphone amplifier can drive high-impedance models.
Power Connection:
- Connect the provided power cable to the AC inlet on the rear panel and then to a suitable 100V AC power outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on the unit, press the power switch located on the front panel. The display will illuminate.
- To power off, press the power switch again.
4.2 Input Selection
- Use the "INPUT" button on the front panel to cycle through the available digital inputs (USB, FireWire, SPDIF, AES/EBU, TOSLINK, SDIF3). The selected input will be indicated on the display.
- For DSD playback, ensure the DSD input is selected if using the SDIF3 connection, or that your USB/FireWire source is configured for DSD output.
4.3 Volume Control
- Rotate the large knob on the front panel to adjust the output volume for both the line outputs and the headphone output.
- The current volume level will be displayed digitally.
- Caution: Before playing audio, ensure the volume is set to a low level to prevent sudden loud sounds that could damage your hearing or equipment.
4.4 Audio Playback
- Once the desired input is selected and your audio source is playing, the DAC will convert the digital signal to analog audio.
- The display will show the sample rate (e.g., "192.0" for 192kHz PCM) or "DSD" when playing DSD content.
- Adjust the volume to your preferred listening level.
5. Maintenance

- No Power:
