3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Starting Data Logging

  • The device will now continuously record 3-axis g-force data based on the configured settings.

  • To stop recording, press the 'Record' button again. The 'Record' LED will turn off.
  • Alternatively, logging will automatically stop once the internal memory is full or the battery is depleted.

  • Connect the VB300 to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  • Launch the Extech analysis software on your computer.
  • The software will detect the connected device and allow you to download the logged data.
  • Use the software to view, analyze, and export the vibration data, including FFT Frequency and Time-Domain analysis.
