1. Temperature Setting:

   • Turn the temperature dial to the desired fabric setting (e.g., Linen, Cotton, Wool, Silk, Synthetics). Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light turns off, signaling it has reached the set temperature.

2. Dry Ironing:
   • For dry ironing, ensure the steam control is set to the "DRY" position.
   • Iron the fabric as needed.
3. Steam Ironing:
   • Ensure the water tank is filled.
   • Set the temperature dial to a steam-appropriate setting (usually Cotton, Linen, or higher). Steam will not generate at lower temperatures.
   • Adjust the steam control to the desired steam level.
   • Move the iron smoothly over the fabric.
4. Shot of Steam / Vertical Steam:
   • This feature provides an extra burst of steam for stubborn wrinkles.
   • Press the "Shot of Steam" button. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright and direct the steam towards hanging garments or drapes.
   • Allow a few seconds between bursts for optimal steam generation.
5. Spray Mist:
   • Press the "Spray Mist" button to lightly dampen fabric, which helps in smoothing out wrinkles.
6. Timed Auto-Off Feature:
   • For safety, the iron is equipped with a timed auto-off feature. If left motionless on its soleplate for a certain period (e.g., 30 seconds) or on its heel rest for a longer period (e.g., 15 minutes), the heating element will automatically turn off.
   • To reset, simply move the iron, and it will reheat to the set temperature.

Maintenance

1. Emptying the Water Tank:
   • After each use, ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cool.
   • Open the water fill cover and invert the iron over a sink to drain any remaining water.
   • Close the water fill cover.
2. Cleaning the Soleplate:
