1. Attaching to the Towed Vehicle

1. Prepare Towed Vehicle: Ensure the towed vehicle's bumper or frame is suitable for attaching the universal bumper brackets. Modifications may be required.
2. Install Bumper Brackets: Securely attach the universal bumper brackets to the towed vehicle's frame or bumper using appropriate hardware (not included, unless specified). Ensure they are spaced correctly to align with the tow bar arms. The tow bar arms are adjustable from 26 inches to 41 inches wide.
3. Connect Tow Bar Arms: Slide the adjustable arms of the tow bar into the bumper brackets. Secure them with the provided pins and clips, ensuring they are fully engaged.

2. Connecting to the Towing Vehicle

1. Prepare Towing Vehicle: Ensure your towing vehicle has a properly installed hitch receiver and a 2-inch hitch ball.
2. Attach Coupler: Place the tow bar's 2-inch coupler over the hitch ball. Close the coupler latch and secure it with a safety pin or lock. Verify the coupler is fully seated and locked onto the hitch ball.
3. Attach Safety Chains: Connect safety chains from the tow bar to the towing vehicle's hitch receiver or frame. Cross the chains under the tow bar to create a cradle, which will prevent the tow bar from hitting the ground if it detaches. Ensure there is enough slack for turns but not so much that they drag.
4. Connect Lighting and Braking (if applicable): If your setup includes auxiliary lighting or braking systems for the towed vehicle, connect them according to their respective instructions.

Operating Instructions
