3. Setup and First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the popcorn maker and all its components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Wash the clear top cover and measuring cup in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not immerse the main unit in water.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to make fresh, delicious popcorn:

1. Prepare Kernels: Use the provided measuring cup to measure 1/2 cup (approximately 4 cups popped) of fresh popcorn kernels. Do not overfill or underfill. Do not add oil, butter, or any other ingredients to the popping chamber.
2. Add Kernels: Pour the measured kernels into the popping chamber of the main unit.
3. Attach Cover: Place the clear top cover securely onto the main unit, ensuring it is properly seated.
4. Position Measuring Cup: Place the measuring cup into the opening on top of the clear cover. This cup can also be used to melt butter during the popping cycle.
5. Place Serving Bowl: Position a large serving bowl directly under the popcorn chute to collect the popped corn.
6. Plug In and Start: Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet. Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The popping process will begin immediately.
7. Popping Cycle: Popcorn will begin to pop and dispense into your serving bowl within a few minutes. The popping cycle is complete when the popping sound stops.
8. Turn Off: Once popping is complete, immediately flip the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the appliance from the outlet.
