Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 1).
2. Slide the battery cover downwards and remove it.
3. Insert two (2) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover by sliding it back into position until it clicks securely.

The remote control is now ready for use with your VIZIO television. No programming is typically required for this replacement remote.

Operating Instructions

Basic Functions (Front Side)

Flip the remote over to access the full QWERTY keyboard. This keyboard is useful for entering text in search fields, web browsers, or app logins on your VIZIO Smart TV. Ensure the remote is pointed towards the TV when using the keyboard for input.
