Setup

1. Installing Batteries

The COOLPIX L810 operates on four AA alkaline batteries. Open the battery compartment cover, located on the bottom of the camera. Insert the four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. Close the cover securely.

2. Inserting a Memory Card

Operating the Camera

Taking Photos

To take a photo, aim the camera at your subject. Press the shutter-release button halfway down to focus. The focus area will turn green when focus is achieved. Press the button all the way down to capture the image.

Zoom Function

The camera features a 26x optical zoom lens. Use the zoom lever located on the side of the lens barrel to zoom in (T) or out (W). This allows you to adjust your focal length from 22.5mm wide-angle to 585mm telephoto.
