1. Introduction

The NutriBullet Baby Turbo Steamer is designed for preparing homemade baby food, defrosting frozen foods, and sterilizing baby bottles, pacifiers, utensils, and toys. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective use of your appliance.

2. Components and What's Included

Familiarize yourself with the parts of your NutriBullet Baby Turbo Food Steamer:

  • Steamer Base

3. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all removable parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Ensure the appliance is unplugged during assembly.

  1. Place the Steamer Base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
  2. Fill the water reservoir in the Steamer Base with the appropriate amount of water using the provided measuring cup. Do not overfill.
  3. Place the desired tray (Steaming, Defrosting, or Sterilizing) onto the Steamer Base.
  4. If using the Egg Cooking Tray, place it within the Steaming Tray.
  5. Cover the tray with the Lid.

4. Operating Instructions

The NutriBullet Baby Turbo Steamer offers multiple functions for preparing and sanitizing baby essentials.

4.1 Steaming Fresh Ingredients

To steam fresh fruits, vegetables, or other ingredients for homemade baby food:

  1. Prepare ingredients by washing and cutting them into appropriate sizes.
  2. Place ingredients onto the Steaming Tray.
  3. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the Lid is securely in place.
  4. Select one of the 5 steam settings using the control buttons. The built-in timer will manage the cooking duration.
  5. The steamer will automatically shut off when the cycle is complete.

4.2 Defrosting Frozen Foods

To safely and efficiently defrost batch-cooked baby food or other frozen ingredients:

  1. Place frozen food into the Defrosting Trays.
  2. Position the Defrosting Trays on the Steamer Base.
  3. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the Lid is in place.
  4. Select the appropriate defrost setting. The steamer will gently thaw the food.

4.3 Sterilizing Baby Essentials

The steamer can sterilize baby bottles, pacifiers, nipples, utensils, teethers, and toys.

  1. Place items to be sterilized onto the Sterilizing Tray.
  2. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the Lid is securely in place.
  3. Select the sterilize setting. The steam will effectively sanitize the items.

4.4 Egg Cooking

Use the dedicated Egg Cooking Tray for perfectly steamed eggs.

  1. Place eggs into the designated slots on the Egg Cooking Tray.
  2. Place the Egg Cooking Tray within the Steaming Tray on the Steamer Base.
  3. Ensure the water reservoir is filled and the Lid is in place.
  4. Select the appropriate steam setting for eggs.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your steamer.

  • Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • All removable components (Lid, Steaming Tray, Defrosting Trays, Sterilizing Tray, Egg Cooking Tray, Measuring Cup) are dishwasher-safe for quick and easy cleanup.
  • Wipe the Steamer Base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
  • Periodically descale the heating element in the water reservoir to prevent mineral buildup. Use a solution of water and white vinegar, run a short steam cycle, then rinse thoroughly.
