- Program ON/OFF Times:
The dial is surrounded by small segment pins. Each pin represents 30 minutes. To set a period for the timer to be ON, push the corresponding segment pins DOWN. For periods you want the timer to be OFF, leave the pins UP.
For example, if you want the device to turn ON from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, push down all the pins between the 6 PM and 10 PM marks on the dial.
- Set Manual Override Switch:
Ensure the manual override switch at the top of the timer is set to "TIMER ON" for the programmed settings to take effect. If you want the connected device to be continuously ON, slide the switch to "OUTLET ON".
- Plug into Wall Outlet:
Plug the timer into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
- Connect Appliance:
Plug the appliance you wish to control into the grounded outlet on the side of the timer.

- Automatic Operation: When the switch is set to "TIMER ON", the timer will activate the connected appliance during the periods where pins are pushed down (ON) and deactivate it when pins are up (OFF). This cycle repeats every 24 hours.
- Manual Override: To temporarily or permanently turn the connected appliance ON, slide the switch to "OUTLET ON". The timer function will be bypassed. To revert to programmed operation, slide the switch back to "TIMER ON".
