5. Setup
5.1 Powering the Device
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the rear of the unit and insert the supplied rechargeable lithium-ion battery, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
- Charging: Connect the AC adapter to the power input port on the top of the device and plug it into a suitable power outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz). The battery will begin charging. The device can be operated while charging.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button to turn the device on or off.

- Oscilloscope Probes: Connect the BNC end of the oscilloscope voltage probes to the BNC connectors on the side of the unit. Ensure a secure connection by twisting the BNC connector until it locks.
