Setup

Assembly

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Handle Assembly: Insert the telescopic handle into the main unit until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the handle is fully extended and locked for comfortable operation.
  3. Attach Pads/Brushes: Select the appropriate pads or brushes for your cleaning task. To attach, align the prongs on the backing plates with the holes on the base of the machine. Press firmly until they click into place. For pads, attach them to the hook and loop backing plates.

Power Connection

The EP170 operates on a standard electrical outlet. Unwind the 23-foot power cable from the integrated handle hook. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical socket. Ensure the cable is clear of the cleaning path during operation.

Operating Instructions

The Ewbank EP170 is designed for cleaning, scrubbing, and polishing various hard floor surfaces including laminate, wood, vinyl, marble, and granite.

Starting and Stopping the Machine

  • To Start: With the unit plugged in, gently lower the handle towards the floor. The machine will activate automatically as the handle moves from the upright position.
  • To Stop: Return the handle to the upright, locked position. The machine will power off.

Cleaning Modes

The EP170 utilizes contra-rotating discs spinning at 2,200 RPM for effective cleaning.
