Introduction
This user manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Aduro 9 wood-burning stove. Please read this manual thoroughly before installing or using the stove to ensure proper function and safety.
The Aduro 9 in black is a modern stove with a cylindrical, modern look and 2 side windows in the casing, allowing for versatile placement and a view of the fire from the sides. Its highly efficient and clean combustion system with Adurotronic combustion control is designed for 24-hour continuous use with wood and coal as fuel, offering an efficiency of 81.3% and exhaust gases well below all applicable German standards. The total output of 6 kW, the option to connect the flue pipe at the top and rear, and the practical storage compartment in the lower part of the stove complete its performance spectrum.
Safety Instructions
Always prioritize safety when operating your wood-burning stove. Failure to follow these instructions can result in fire, property damage, or personal injury.
- Ensure proper ventilation in the room where the stove is installed.
- Keep flammable materials at a safe distance from the stove. Refer to local building codes and manufacturer's recommendations for minimum clearances.
- Only use approved fuels (wood and coal) as specified in the technical data. Do not burn trash, plastics, or treated wood.
- Never leave a burning stove unattended.
- Regularly inspect and clean the chimney and flue pipe to prevent creosote buildup.
- Install a carbon monoxide detector in the vicinity of the stove.
- Children and pets should be kept away from the hot surfaces of the stove.
- Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot parts of the stove.
Setup and Installation
Installation of the Aduro 9 stove should be performed by a qualified professional in accordance with all local and national building codes and regulations.
Unpacking and Initial Placement
Carefully unpack the stove and inspect it for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Report any damage to your supplier immediately. The Aduro 9 stove is designed for freestanding installation. Ensure the floor can support the stove's weight (93 kg). If installing on a combustible floor, a non-combustible floor protector (e.g., glass or steel plate) must be used, extending beyond the stove's footprint according to local regulations.

Flue Pipe Connection
The stove offers flexible flue pipe connection options: either at the top or at the rear. The flue pipe diameter is 150 mm. Ensure all connections are sealed properly to prevent smoke leakage. Refer to the dimensions diagram for precise measurements for installation planning.

Operating Instructions
Fuel Type
The Aduro 9 stove is designed to burn seasoned wood and coal. Do not use unseasoned wood, treated wood, or any other combustible materials.
Lighting the Stove
- Open the primary and secondary air controls fully.
- Place a small amount of kindling and firelighters in the combustion chamber.
- Light the kindling. Once a small fire is established, add a few small pieces of wood.
- Close the door. The Adurotronic system will automatically regulate the air supply for optimal combustion.
- Once the fire is burning strongly, you can add larger logs (up to 39 cm in length).
Adurotronic Combustion Control
The Adurotronic system automatically adjusts the primary and secondary air supply to optimize combustion, ensuring high efficiency (81.3%) and clean burning. This system helps maintain a consistent burn and reduces emissions.

Maintenance
Ash Removal
Regularly remove ash from the ash pan located in the lower compartment of the stove. Ensure the stove is completely cool before removing ash. Dispose of ash in a non-combustible container.

Glass Cleaning (Window Cleaning)
The Aduro 9 features a "disc flushing" (window cleaning) system that helps keep the glass clean during operation. However, occasional manual cleaning may be necessary. Use a specialized stove glass cleaner when the stove is cold.
Chimney and Flue Pipe Cleaning
Have your chimney and flue pipe inspected and cleaned by a certified chimney sweep at least once a year, or more frequently if you use the stove heavily. This prevents creosote buildup and reduces the risk of chimney fires.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Smoke entering the room | Insufficient draft, blocked chimney, or door opened too quickly. | Check chimney for blockages. Ensure air controls are open. Open door slowly. Consult a chimney sweep. |
| Poor heat output | Wet fuel, insufficient air supply, or stove too small for room. | Use dry, seasoned wood. Ensure air controls are open. Consult a professional for sizing advice. |
| Glass blackening | Wet fuel, insufficient air wash, or burning at too low a temperature. | Use dry fuel. Ensure air wash (disc flushing) system is functioning. Burn at optimal temperature. Clean glass when cold. |
