Setup
Battery Installation
The Trelock LS 812 Trio Flat requires two AA 1.5V batteries.
- Locate the small screw on the side of the taillight, near the on/off switch.
- Use a small hex key (not included) to loosen this screw.
- Carefully separate the transparent plastic housing from the black mounting plate to access the battery compartment.
- Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Reattach the transparent housing to the mounting plate and tighten the screw.

Mounting the Taillight
The LS 812 Trio Flat is designed for carrier mounting.
- Position the taillight on your bicycle's rear carrier, aligning the mounting holes.
- Insert the provided screws through the taillight and carrier holes.
- Secure the taillight by tightening the nuts onto the screws from the other side of the carrier.
- Ensure the light is firmly attached and facing directly backward.

Operating Instructions
Turning On/Off
To turn the taillight on or off, press the black switch located on the front of the light.

Battery Level Indicator
The taillight features a battery level indicator. When the battery power is low, the indicator will signal that it's time to replace the batteries.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean the taillight regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the housing or lens.
Battery Replacement
When the battery level indicator signals low power, replace both AA batteries following the "Battery Installation" steps. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
Storage
If the taillight will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.
Troubleshooting
Light Does Not Turn On
- Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace the batteries with new ones.
