3. Setup & Installation
3.1 Mounting the Sight
The sight comes with an integral Picatinny mounting deck. Ensure your firearm has a compatible Picatinny rail. Secure the sight firmly using the double locking nuts on the mounting deck. Proper mounting is crucial for maintaining zero and accuracy.

3.2 Battery Installation
The dot sight requires a CR2032 battery for illumination. To install or replace the battery, unscrew the battery cap located on the illumination rheostat. Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards, then securely replace the cap.
3.3 Lens Caps
The sight is equipped with flip-open lens caps to protect the objective and ocular lenses from dust and debris. These caps can be easily flipped open for use and closed for storage or transport.
4. Operation
4.1 Red/Green Illumination Adjustment
The sight features dual red/green illumination with multiple brightness settings. The illumination rheostat, located on top of the sight, allows you to select between red and green dots and adjust their intensity. Rotate the knob to cycle through the 5 power levels for each color. Lower illumination settings can help reduce any perceived ghosting or spray imaging, especially in low light conditions.

4.2 Windage and Elevation Adjustment
The sight features coin-adjustable windage and elevation turrets. Each click adjusts the point of impact by 1/2 MOA. To adjust, remove the protective caps from the turrets. Use a coin or a flat-head tool to turn the adjustment screws. Turn the elevation turret (top) to adjust vertical impact and the windage turret (side) to adjust horizontal impact. Ensure to replace the caps after adjustment to protect the turrets.

5. Sighting In (Zeroing) Your Scope
Properly zeroing your dot sight is essential for accuracy. This process involves aligning the sight's point of aim with the firearm's point of impact. 5.1 Preparation
- Stable Platform: Use a solid bench rest or gun vise to hold your firearm steady. This minimizes movement and ensures consistent shot placement.
- Quality Targets: Utilize targets that clearly show shot placement for easy reference.
5.2 Zeroing Procedure
- Secure Firearm: Place your firearm in the bench rest or gun vise in a stable and comfortable position. Minimize movement of the gun throughout the process.
- Align Crosshairs: Line up your sight's dot with the bullseye or center of your target.
- Take a Shot: Fire a shot at the center of the target, practicing safe and effective shooting techniques (e.g., trigger and breath control).
- Observe Impact: Note where the shot hit the target relative to your aim point.
- Adjust Turrets: While keeping the firearm steady and the sight's dot on the original aim point, adjust the windage and elevation turrets. Move the dot on the reticle to align with the actual bullet impact point on the target. For example, if your shot hit low and left, adjust the elevation up and the windage right until the dot visually moves to where the bullet hit.
- Confirm Adjustments: Take another shot at the center of the target. Repeat the adjustment process if necessary until your shots consistently hit the bullseye.
Remember that all setups are unique. This method may not be sufficient for all situations, and you may need to use your elevation or reticle features to compensate for different ranges after initial zeroing.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, keep the lenses clean. Use a soft, lint-free cloth and lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals that could damage the lens coatings. Gently wipe away dust and smudges.
6.2 Storage
When not in use, store the dot sight in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the lens caps are closed to protect the lenses. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods to prevent corrosion.
7. Troubleshooting
- Dot Appears as Starburst or Ghost Image: This is a common characteristic of reflex sights due to light reflection and individual eyesight. Lowering the illumination intensity setting can often reduce this effect. A brighter target background generally results in a crisper dot.
- Dot Not Visible: Check the battery. Ensure it is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace with a fresh CR2032 battery if needed. Verify the illumination rheostat is turned on and set to an appropriate brightness level.
- Sight Not Holding Zero: Ensure the sight is securely mounted to the Picatinny rail with the double locking nuts tightened. Excessive movement during shooting or improper mounting can cause loss of zero.
- Difficulty Zeroing: If you cannot get on paper with your first shot, consider bore-sighting your rifle first or attempting to zero at a closer distance.
