Operating Instructions
General Pasta Cooking
- Add Pasta: Place your desired amount of pasta into the main cooking vessel. For long pasta like spaghetti, you may need to break it in half to fit, or submerge it gradually as it softens.
- Add Water: Fill the cooker with cold water until the pasta is fully submerged. Ensure there is at least 1 inch of water above the pasta to allow for expansion during cooking and prevent boil-overs. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (if present) or the rim of the container.
- Microwave: Place the uncovered cooking vessel into the microwave. Microwave on high power. The cooking time will vary depending on your microwave's wattage and the type of pasta. As a general guideline, refer to your pasta package's stovetop cooking time and add an additional 3-5 minutes. For best results, check pasta for desired doneness periodically.
- Stir (Optional): For some pasta types, especially smaller shapes, stirring halfway through cooking can help prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
- Drain: Carefully remove the hot cooker from the microwave using oven mitts. Place the slotted lid securely on top of the cooker, aligning the draining slots. Tilt the cooker over a sink to drain the hot water.
- Serve: Remove the lid, add your favorite sauce and ingredients, and serve immediately.

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: This product is Hand Wash Only. Wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can scratch the surface of the cooker.
- Storage: Store the cooker with the lid loosely placed on top or separately to allow for air circulation and prevent odors.
Troubleshooting
- Pasta Boils Over: Ensure the lid is removed during microwaving. Reduce the amount of water or pasta, or decrease the cooking time slightly.
- Pasta Not Cooked Evenly: Make sure all pasta is fully submerged in water. For longer cooking times, consider stirring the pasta once or twice during the cooking process.
- Pasta Sticking Together: Ensure adequate water is used. Stirring during cooking can help. Adding a small amount of oil to the water before cooking may also help prevent sticking.
