Maintenance

Battery Information

Your Casio A158WA watch is equipped with a CR2016 Lithium Metal battery, designed to last approximately 7 years under normal usage conditions. When the display becomes dim or the light function weakens, it may be an indication that the battery needs replacement. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

Water Resistance

The watch is water-resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM / 99 feet). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for showering, swimming, diving, or any water sports where it would be subjected to continuous water pressure or submersion. Do not operate buttons while the watch is wet.

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish or internal components.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
